For a bug report, include your device, game version, voyage code and what you expected to happen. The game's feedback panel can prepare a voyage report for you to share. It includes your ship, decisions and genome archive; send it only if you want to.
Where is my save?
Your voyage and genome bank live on the device or browser where you played. The browser playtest keeps a separate save for each browser and web address. The mobile app has its own local save. Progress does not automatically move between devices or between the browser and app.
Clearing browser storage or uninstalling the app can remove that local progress. A voyage report is useful for diagnosing a problem, but the game does not currently offer report import or cloud restore.
Can I pause a voyage?
Yes. There is no running clock between decisions. Closing or backgrounding ARKSHIP does not use your resources. Contact choices take effect when selected; the ship operates when you commit a jump.
How do I try another route?
Choose New voyage, then New code to chart different encounters and crossings. Replay previous code revisits the previous code. Your inherited strains and decisions can change the outcome. Beginning a new voyage replaces the current run while keeping your banked lineage.
How do the controls work?
Tap a route to inspect its forecast, then contact the signal. Tap a specimen and an open bay to plan a graft. Select a room to inspect, move, store, pause or mutate it. Undo stays available while you plan. Forecast explains the next committed crossing; Show room returns to the ship.
The optional flight guide teaches the opening jumps. Tap or focus a resource indicator for an explanation. Heat from 0 to 15 is safe; food and oxygen must stay above zero.
Why is the sound silent?
Sound starts muted. Enable it with the sound control, then use Mix to choose music and effects. Also check your device volume, mute settings and any connected headphones.
What does sharing a voyage send?
A voyage link shares its code and game version, so another player can explore that journey. It does not contain your saved ship or inherited genomes. A separate voyage report contains more detail and is shared only when you choose to send it.
How do I change analytics?
Where available, open the game's feedback panel to change the optional playtest-stats setting. Measurement starts off. Current mobile test builds without that setting do not collect game analytics. The privacy notice explains the browser service and the planned mobile option.
