Join the tester group
Join with the same Google account you use for Google Play on your Android device. Group membership makes that account eligible for the closed test.
Joining the group signs you up for eligibility. It does not install ARKSHIP or opt you into the Google Play test.
Opt in on Google Play
Open the testing page with that same Google account and choose “Become a tester”. Then follow step 03 to install on your Android device.
Available to eligible Android players in the UK, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Google Play lists the developer as OutfitPilot.
If you see “App not available”, check that you have joined the tester group, then switch to that same Google account on the testing page and in Google Play.

No code or email request needed. Open the ARKSHIP listing on your Android device using the same Google account as steps 01 and 02. Check that it shows Install or a zero price before confirming.

We’re looking for around 20–25 Android players. Keep your Google Play test opt-in and group membership active for at least 14 consecutive days, even after the free download window closes. Try a few sessions and send honest feedback; no daily play quota or positive review is required.
- Start your ark: play the first two jumps and tell us where you got stuck.
- Try a voyage: which route did your ship make tempting, and what did you change to survive?
- Launch a successor: if you bank a strain, try it next voyage and tell us what it makes possible.
Your browser and mobile saves remain separate, so starting the Android test will not move or replace a browser voyage.
